Our meetings are free and open to the public. Our next meeting will be August 17th. The doors open at 6:00 pm and food arrives shortly after that allowing time to grab something to eat and networking with your peers. The meeting will start at 6:30 with announcements and open floor discussions followed by the speaker for the night. The meeting location is:

At this meeting Lior Kimchi will present on High-Availability/Disaster Recover features in SQL Server .
In this presentation, Lior will will go over the different types of features available and the pros/cons of each. He will specifically explain and demo the Mirroring feature. It is an excellent option for HA/DR that is not being used much, because it may look difficult to implement. He will show the steps needed and scripts used. If possible he will even demo an actual mirroring session right from my laptop. If time allows, we can do some Q&A and show some SQL tips and tricks.
